                          HUMAN BODY-THE PLACE OF PILGRIMAGE

Q. How Shri. Satguru has compared body with the place of pilgrimage called Aalandi?

A.  Aalandi is a place near Pune. It is a place where Saint Dnyandev took Samadhi. It is a holy place and many devotees come to visit it. Here Saint Dnyandev used to stay.

Aalandi is also called as Alankapuri. It means a city of jewelries. Body is Alandi-Alankapuri. Our body has many organs for doing various functions. We have 5 organs which do various actions-karmendriyas, 5 sensory organs-dnyanendryiyas, 4 mind organs-anterendriyas and 5 prans-vital respiratory activities of physical and metaphysical bodies etc. All our organs are precious jewelries-alankaars. In our body Dnyandev is C. S. He has total dnyan-knowledge, aanand-bliss is HIS swaroop. He is no different than bliss and  resides in our heart. River Indrayani (occupying indriyas-organs) flows near Alandi. In our body, consciousness is the river Indrayani which flows through all indriyas-organs.
This is how Satguru has compared body with the place of pilgrimage called Aalandi.

Q. Why does Jeevanvidya say that doing pilgrimage is unnecessary?

A. While doing pilgrimage we have to spend money, toil hard to reach there as these places are very far from our residence and many of them are situated in hills and mountains.  To visit places of pilgrimage we have to go on a vacation and have to stay away from our routine work. Secondly when thousands of people gather in one small place on a particular day, they are likely to be sick. People take bath in dirty water thinking it is holy water so they are exposed to many diseases. Many times it is not possible to provide pure drinking water and sanitary facilities for such a large gathering of people therefore very often epidemics of infectious diseases may start here and many pilgrims become sick during and after this pilgrimage. Hence Jeevanvidya says that doing pilgrimage is unnecessary.
Instead people should take bath in divine consciousness of our swaroop. It means we should remember our swaroop which is full of bliss. Our mind should be concentrated on its origin which is our swaroop. We can try to do this with the help of enchanting name of Lord-naam jap or by enchanting vishva prarthana-universal prayer. Advance form of this sadhana is divine meditation and is to be learned by surrendering Satguru.

       HUMAN BODY- THE GREATEST MIRACLE

Q. Why do people get attracted towards people who perform miracles?

A. People have lot of problems in their family life, in business and jobs, regarding their health and health of family members etc. So they want ready and instant solutions.
Secondly since childhood we hear lot many mythological stories and fairy tales where miracles are described. So subconsciously we want miracle to happen in our life to get rid of problems all at once without toiling hard to solve it.

Q. How do miracles are performed by people by babas, boovas etc.

A.-1) Tricks are played by distracting attention of people.

2) By mesmerizing people.

3) By controlling subconscious mind.

4) Activation of different centers in brain either due to accident or by use of chemicals or herbs.

5)  Activation of different centers in brain as a result of actions in previous births.

(Reference: Amrutmanthan-pg-209)

Q. Which is the greatest miracle of all miracles? Why?

A.  Human body-especially human brain is the greatest miracle of all miracles.

It is observed by the scientists that, the genius of all genius also does not use more than 10% percent of its capacity.

By using maximum of this 10% capacity man could go to moon and could do amazing progress in science and technology.
With the continuous ongoing progress in technologies like nano technology, genetic engineering, stem cell research, robot technology etc. it is beyond our imagination what man would do in near future.

Human brain is gifted with many powers like imagination, visualization, compassion and other various emotions, memory, power of forgetting etc. Our body has physical, metaphysical and spiritual existence hence its all powers are difficult to be enumerated and explained; they are miraculous in nature.
So we should respect salute the greatest miracle and wonderful gift given to us by nature goddess which is our brain and make most use of it for the betterment of our life and humanity than chasing people who  claim that they can perform miracles and claim to solve our day to day problems. We must remember that we have capacity to solve all our problems and just need to believe in ourselves and behave in harmony with the laws of nature by using wisdom.

          HUMAN BODY-KALPTARU

Kalptaru- Tree described in mythology that fulfills all desires of the people who are sitting under it.
Our subconscious mind works like Kalptaru.

Q. Why we should always remember that we are sitting under Kalptaru and should be very cautious at every moment while leading our life?
A. Kalptaru grants all our wishes when we are sitting under it. As a result our life can be very happy but there is another side to it. Kalptaru does not think and analyze to see whether those wishes are good or evil, whether they would bring happiness to our lives or sorrow and pain, difficulties and troublesome conditions and agony in our lives. It is not Kalptaru’s responsibility to see all these things. We have to use our intellect and wisdom before thinking and wishing and therefore should be very cautious at each and every moment; due to sanskaars of many births, we are habituated to think negatively about ourselves and about others.
Thoughts have physical and spiritual existence. All 5 elements like water, earth, gas, ether (akash) and fire are existent in thoughts. So they are very powerful. It is observed that generally approximately 5-6 thoughts /per second is the rate at which thoughts come in our mind. From this we can calculate how many thoughts could be coming to our mind in a single day. The thoughts which are weak weather off. But the thoughts, which are repetitive and are powerful and those which are fed by emotions, imagination and visualization are deposited in our subconscious mind and get materialized in our lives and shape our life. Hence we should try to observe what thoughts are coming in our mind. We should see them and those which are negative in nature; we should catch and then bend them to positive attitude.

Q. How this cautious attitude would help us?

A. If we continue to do positive thinking by continuous observation and keep on converting negative thoughts to positive thoughts, then very soon our conscious and subconscious mind would be filled up with all positive thoughts and it would be elevated to the stage of pure mind. This pure mind is very powerful and would grant all our wishes instantly. If our thoughts and wishes are in harmony with laws of nature they would bring happiness, joy, peace, abundance, delight, content ness and bliss to our life and to other peoples lives who are associated with us.

HUMAN BODY CHINTAMANI

Chinta means worrying over any subject.

Mani-Jewel.

Chintamani-It is a miraculous jewel described in mythology. It drives away all the worries of the person who carries and he is blessed with success, peace, happiness and content ness.

Q. What are the undesirable effects of habits of worrying?

A. Man invites all kind of troubles, frustrating situations, pain and agony as a result of his habit of worrying. Most of the times his worries are imaginary and there is no base of factual condition.
Divine life principle is flowing through man and it takes the shape as per the thinking of man. It is the desire of this principle or tendency of life to always stay in happiness, peace and in state of joy. But man as a result of ignorance of knowledge of how to handle and behave with this life principle instead of making it favorable to lead happy peaceful creates resistance to this flow of principle. This leads to all unwanted situations, contact with unwanted people and difficulties in his life.

Q. Why does Jeevanvidya say that doing and asking to God is one and the same?

Our actions at the level of mind and body are reciprocated in our life by the God (Chaitanya Shakti) as per laws of nature. In this manner man creates his own destiny according to his thinking and behavior and his doing and asking to God is one and the same.

  THE PHILOSOPHER STONE

The philosopher stone is described in mythology. It supposedly possesses a property of converting iron into gold when it comes in contact with it.

Q. Why human body is called as philosopher stone?

A. Human body can work like philosopher stone. When we speak good things, think good and do actions which give happiness to others, then we spread happiness all around us and create golden atmosphere of peace and happiness all around us through our direct and indirect actions.

    HUMAN BODY-THE DIVINE BANK

Q. Where is divine bank situated and how does it function?

A. The divine bank is situated in our subconscious mind. Whatever actions we do like speaking, taunting, appreciating, praising, admiring, hating, abusing, cursing, making fun of others, hurting etc. at the at the level of body or mind are deposited on the tape of subtle consciousness and are deposited in our divine bank situated in our subconscious mind.
Depending on these actions, our subconscious mind creates reaction (paap or punya) and these taped reactions-impressions of these reactions wait for the suitable opportunity. When suitable circumstances and suitable time arrives these taped reactions are manifested in life of person as (sukh) happiness, pleasure or (dukkh) pain, sorrow depending on action. This reaction can be in equal in magnitude or multiplied and magnified, depending on its intensity and motivation, aim and whether done physically or at the level of mind.
The functioning of this divine bank is most accurate, skillful, natural and automatic. It fully functions under the laws of nature. There are no exceptions or no special cases. Ignorance of laws of nature can not become excuse for non execution or special concession, according to the laws of nature. These laws of nature are applied to all, irrespective of race, religion, creed, nationality, level of intellect or education, beliefs and monetary capacity.
