Namonamah
While going through the various posts on this forum, I came across many statements of the general form:
"Jeevanvidyaa X maanate pan saamaanya maanasaalaa he (shakya naahi)/(avaghad aahe), mhanoon Y saangte"
Is there a list of such curtailment or imposed limitations of JeevanVidyaa? Such a list will be very helpful.
Thanks Regards Milind Khadilkar

MK,
can you be more specific? Can you give the many instances please. Then I will be able to understand your question.

Namonamah,
I did not consciously look for such instances, but in the course of my perusal of material on this forum, in the JVM website and in random other sources, many such instances "registered" themselves in my subconscious mind. At one point, I became conscius of it, and then I was on te lookout. The latest instance, the one that prompted me to post my request, was from Subhashjee's post on another thread: QUOTE ...and hence nation. Because VYAKTI is yet not ready to accept the fact of HEY VISHWACHI MAZE GHARA.
UNQUOTE.
I hasten to add that this is not the most explicit of such instances, merely the latest.
Another I remember was on a thread about VishwaPraarthanaa: something in the nature of an explanation of why Vishwapraarthanaa (the chanting of which is nothing but a ritual) is encouraged even though JV is against rituals.
Subhashjee, I know you are asking me to provide examples with the sole hope that searching for them will make me revise all that I have read once. Thanks for your continued good wishes.
My original query remains: Is there a list of such curtailments or imposed limitations of JeevanVidyaa? Such a list will be very helpful.
Thanks and regards Milind Khadilkar

MK,
There is a difference between limitations put by a locus standi and limitations put by JV. To my knowledge, there is no limitation put by JV. You can think HEY VISHWACHI and JV is not curtailing you to do that. In fact JV is saying you should expand your horizons. But as long as you are JEEVA you will not be able to. It is because of BHAVAROG - a disease. Satguru gives example of a man with paralysis - he never realizes the sense of ice touching his diseased foot. It is not a limitation imposed by JV. Therefore you need to give another example.
Do I want you to read forum? Yes and No. But first you need to read Satguru's books. Then you will be able to appreciate JV better and so many of your questions would be answered without forum. On another note, if you read forum as well, so many of your questions you may get useful hints and even answers. Thirdly, do want you to differentiate between limitation imposed by JV or locus standi - give me a correct example please from forum or book.
On Vishwaprarthana chanting. Please do not confuse it with ritual. It is a mind exercise. It is changing your mindset. Do it as an experiment for 6 months - 1000 times chanting of Universal Prayer - with emotion or without. Experience it and then say if it is ritual or not. Do not write off all Sages and Saints with wisdom to say chanting the name of God is a ritual. I have experienced myself that mere chanting brings a difference in your mindset - of course I know I have yet to achieve a lot more. Satguru has written a book on this chanting - NAMAACHA NANDADEEP. Now JV has added that instead of just chanting if you do ARTHAVAR LAKSHA THEVUN universal prayer you will accelerate the SHUDDHIKARAN PRAKRIYA and hence the benefits thereof. But just chanting does help - JANEEVA NENEEV BHAGAVANTI NAAHI, HARI UCHARANI PAHI MOKSHA SADA - Shri Dnyaneshwar Maharaj in Haripath.
Thanks and regards, Subhash

Namonamah Dear Subhashjee, Dr. Nutanjee,
I have an instance here from Subhashjee's post:
QUOTE Why do we have to emphasize as long as it works? People do not practice it before they believe it will work for them. They need to align Buddhee and mind to get motivated to practice it. This alignment happens if it is emphasized that JV is scientific. UNQUOTE
I do not like this patronizing of saadhaks on the part of JV. This does not stand for "saadhan-shuchitaa". If a saadhak needs a "promotional" to believe in JV, how is JV different from Colgate or Surf? Once a saadhak uses a ladder of glamorous advertising (that is what calling JV as scientific amounts to, as per Subhashjee's post: something akin to "Ye jhaagwaalaa hai!") to practice JV, he/ she will NEVER be able to let go of that ladder.
The slightly too direct language I have used here is not an indication of anything except my inability to find right, moderate wording at short notice.
Thanks and regards MIlind Khadilkar

MK,
thanks for repeating the post. I have replied the original one but here is the relevant excerpts:
Sadhak needs to be promotional about JV because tyane sarwanche bhale honar ahe. Difference between different advertisers and commercials and JV is multi-fold: 1. JV is scientific and telling that and emphasizing that is promoting this truth which is helping others. So recommended. 2. JV or Satguru or Sadhak does not do it for money. 3. JV's dnyaan is MUFTA but priceless 4. Saadhak is not promotional. He becomes advocate of JV automatically - just as you tell your friends of some good thing you see.
Second point is that JV does not promote different concepts on FEAR or EMOTIONS or ANDHASHRADDHA or even SHRADDHA. They promote different concepts based on science of life. This is important because you can say to ADNYANI person that you do this and God will be happy and he will believe it and do it. JV does not do that. It talks about doing things in tune with laws of nature otherwise the laws of nature will punish you. This is correct approach and should be followed. An offshoot of this one can be that people with pre-conceived notions may not even like JV but so be it. We are going to promote it through science of JV - because then the person will really change for better in the right way.
God Bless All, Subhash

Namaskar mk. I'm a science graduate and I wish I should follow a true, radical, logical & scientific path in my life 4ever. If I'd have come to know that 'JV is not scientific' (just a hypothesis! ) then I probably would never have any interest to know about it....but I'm in JVM today just due to the fact that IT IS SCIENTIFIC! and I immensely believe that any philosophy lives generations together not bcoz of anything else but its inherent 'scientific' teachings....otherwise it fails to stand still! As simple as that! So doesn't matter any detergent co. produces any kind of 'zaag' or not.....no comparison at all (on the basis of diff. in 'intentions').... but each and every 'true follower' of JV philosophy is the living example of the science behind the ideals of JV. The fact is that the 'methodology' remains at a personal level....that I too accept!
May GOD bless all!

To, MK
Jeevanvidya "X mhanate aani Y sangate" that is not important , The important thing is ,people are able to achieve Success , happiness & prosperity (i.e. Sukh, Yash & Samridhhi) ,after implementing the principles of Jeevanvidya phylosophy ,in their lives.
There is nowhere any curtailment of Jeevanvidya, but it gives various ways to follow the basic laws of nature , so that common people get the happiness right from the poorest to a richest person.
It just gives various options for smooth following .It says , if one way is not possible for you , then you do it by this way .There is no curtailment ,but it is a freedom of choice,it gives.
Thanks & regards Meena God bless all.

Namonamah,
As I have been interacting with members on this forum, I definitely feel that Pai Mahaaraaj has a very pure concept of JV in his mind. That JV needs no understanding, but simply acceptance. It is a product of high intellect with thoughtful experiments coupled with keen insight and compassion for fellow beings.
I just feel that one should strive to resist the temptations of using the easier alternatives and stick to the basic tenets of JV, even if it means complete submission and a harder and time consuming ordeal.
I think one should not follow the easier path just because it is made available.
Thanks and regards Milind Khadilkar

Namaskaar MK,
I am very happy to see that you have realised the importance of acceptance of JV philosophy and am very sure everbody else share the same feeling. Wish you all the best for your psycho-spiritual journey! May you be blessed with the knowledge of self as early as possible!

Namonamah, Thank you Dr. Nutanjee for your kind words.
I have only said that if you want to follow JV, you should follow it with complete submission, which is not possible because JV itself insists on chikitsa!
So I will always remain in a loop I suppose.

Namaskaar MK,
Sadhak will do chikitsa of any philosophy as long as his mind has not accepted the philosophy but once his doubts are clear the sadhak will try to follow it. But it may happen that while doing sadhana he would get certain experiences and as a result, he may get confused and so this person may need advice. JV says that you should get all your doubts clear from somebody who is knowledgable.
