Namonamah,
Thanks Gauravjee,
I appreciate the attempts made by JV members to answer my queries. Every response adds to my understanding, and there comes a point when I feel, Yes, this it is! Very often it is something which is at total variance with the answer I had in my mind in the beginning, and then I do an internal balancing act.
At this point I should respond saying that my query has been satisfied.
I did it in the beginning.
But this subject is such that the "satisfied" query turns out to be nitya-nutan, and very soon, in the context of another query, a new facet of the original query opens up! And there we go again! As they respond to the queries again, it is interesting to note the newer answers from earlier respondents. They are usually richer.
So I stopped saying that at "this" point I have received my answer.
But I genuinely believe that every answer teaches me something, and takes me closer to that point. But only so close, and not more.
Reminds me of Zeno's paradox (
http://www.geocities.com/paradox_berrin/eng-5.html). Replace Achilles by each of us, or all of us, put together. The Query (which is TRUTH, maybe) is the teasing tortoise.
Of course the metaphor (or simile? never can decipher) can not and must not be taken too far.
My thanks to all forum members, moderators and administrators.
Regards
