Dear Sameer,
If you read pages 146-150 in book "You are the Architect of Your Own Destiny or Life" (Tuch Ahes Tuzya Jeevanacha Shilpakar), you will be able to find answer to your question.
"Namasmaran" meaning remembering the Name of God (Divine Name) in simple words, is advised by saints.
Satguru gives three reasons while explaining why and how we get benefitted by it.:
1)Divine name is a Divine thought. Your sub-conscious mind is very sensitive to your thoughts (in conscious mind) which for the mould or matrix through the infinite intelligence, wisdo, vital forces and energies of your sub-conscious power flow.
Thus by "Namasmaran or meditation or by remembering Divine Name of God or chanting the Divine name of God, your mind is occupied with Divine thoughts, which provides stability and courage to you and peace of mind.
The way darkness disappears once you switch on lights, you stop worrying and start experiencing happiness in life.
2)Our sub-conscious mind has got tremendous power. However as far as we have got ego in our conscious mind, it acts like a firewall between conscious mind and sub-conscious mind. It makes difficult for the conscious mind to communicate with the sub-conscious mind.
As you intensely do "Namasmaran" or remember Dine Name of God or do medition or chanting under the guidanc of True Satguru, the firewall of ego starts melting. Then your conscious mind is able to communicate with the sub-conscious mind. Your wishes or prayers can reach the sub-conscious mind at that stage.
If there is a proper communication between husband and wife the married life of couple becomes full of happiness. The same way, when the conscious mind and the sub-conscious mind are in harmony with each other, Man attains peace and prosperity, however if these two minds are in conflict with each other, he simply faces sorrow, misery, difficulties and sufferings in his life.
3)Remembering the Divine Name of of God is one way of expressing greatfulness. Dr. Murphy says, " A greatful heart is always close to the creative forces of the unverse causing countless blessings to flow towards it by the law of reciprocal relationship based on the cosmic law of action and reaction". Krutadnyata hech Punya.

Hope this helps.

God Bless You.

Dear Deepak,
I have read that   &  also heard from sadguru about it..& what i have understanding about this is as follows:

For me first use of namsamran is concentrating ur mind on what u say....that's namache smaran
now how it will become satkaram .....as a defination of satkaram is  deeds which will help peoples to for well being.
If u see First sadguru used the Vitthal Naam for namsmaran today also we use this............but sadguru wanted to make our namsamran as satkaram so he gave us new thing tht's prarthana ..........& instead of namsamran he told us to recite the prarthana  which creats the process of let prarthana go into sub-conscious mind which will create action of other's goodwill & urs as a reaction. which becomes satkaram.

Namsamaran = increasing the concentration of mind & keeping  -ve thoughts away...............................whereas

Prarthana = satkaram =  namsamran & then further process is as above.

this is what my understanding.

Regards
Raj

Namaskar to All,

I think, it will be better to have a separate topic namely "Meaning of Vishvaprarthana" which I have opened today.? We request to all to answer Varsha's question under that new topic

Namaskar to All, Blessings to All
