Namaskaar,

Pasayadan-

This pasaydan is addressed to Nivruttinath Maharaj who was Satguru of Shri. Dnyaneshwar Mauli.

Dnyaneshwar Mauli has addressed Nivruttinath Maharaj as Vishwatmak dev means Sarveshawar, God who has taken all the living and nonliving forms. Dnyaneshwar Mauli says that he has written Dnyaneshwari which was a holy task-yadnya done by the words to please him and hence he should bestow his grace on him by fulfilling the desires mentioned ahead.

All those who carry evil desires to hurt others may be deprived of such bad desires. May these people develop interest in doing good actions which are beneficial to them and others. May all people be friendly with each other, should love each other and should live in harmony.

All those who are living in darkness of ignorance should be blessed with light of knowledge. and whole universe should be blessed with knowledge about their swa dharama meaning their duties towards all. ( all 7 Gods-mother, father, teacher, atmdev and body in which he resides, satguru, universe-(plants, other animals, all members of the society, panch mahadevas etc.) and own country.
 All creatures should be blessed with fulfillment of all their desires and aspirations.

May all the people in this world be blessed with the company of many God loving devotees who are engaged in doing various good actions which are beneficial to others.

The saints are like big garden of Kalptaru trees. (Kalptaru Tree- Mythological tree -Anybody who sits under this tree and has any desire, it is fulfilled instantaneously.)
The saints are like a village which has chintamani jewels( Chintamani is a miraculous jem. Anybody who possesses it, his/her all desires are fulfilled. The talk of saints is like a ocean of nectar. (They impart divine knowledge to us which is extremely beneficial for us,)

Saints are like Moon without any blemish and are like sun who does not give heat to anybody. May everybody find such saints as their kith and kin (and love them and receive knowledge from them.)

May all the people from the 3 lokas be blessed with total knowledge and experience bliss and should engage themselves in relentless praying of adipurush-(Chaitany tatva)

All those special people who live in a way which is described in this book may be blessed with success in both the worlds. May they be blessed with material as well as spiritual progress.

Oh Vishveshawar! Oh God who live in everybody's heart! these are my desires . Please bless me by fulfilling them. If you do this Dnyaneshwar would be extremely happy!

Ashish,

Good topic. These days not able to find time to devote a full-fledged reply.

However further to Dr. Nutan's mail:

Satguru has said that PASAAYDAAN is actually SANTASHRESHTA DNYANESHWARANNI VISHWATMAK DEVACHI KELELI VISHWAPRARTHANACH AHE. Satguru has said in one of his discourses that he has put the essence of PASAAYADAAN in the VP.

To me VP is PASAAYDAAN. Our contemporary DNYANESHWAR has given it to us. All we need to do is chant it at least 1000 times in a day - refer today's lecture on SAHYADRI.

God bless all,
Subhash
