Namaskar to all,

Thanks to Nutantai for the information about the programme for Guru Paurnima on      20th July 2008.

One more additional thing which I came to know and must have been announced at every branch of JVM ,is
eachone has to carry a plastic bag , for the purpose of keeping the shoes in it, so that the floor of the Hall does not get wet incase there is rain and also cleanliness is maintained in the Hall.

Thanks & regards ,

Meena
May God bless all.

Namonamah.

Isn't an elaborate Guru Paurnima a ritual of the kind JV discourages? Why not utilise the occasion to do manas pooja?

Best Wishes

Concerning

is it not more convenient to clean the hall after the event? In case of rain, not just shoes but feet (and dresses too, for that matter) also are likely to get dirty. And considering the JV doctrine of "shareeraachee soy", is it not more convenient to keep the footwear on?

Also, JV could shift the day of the GP to some other day in a non-rainy period. Sticking to specific dates is also ritualistic.

best wishes

Good wishes to all on the event of GURUPAURNIMA

Yesterday we celebrated Gurupaurnima at our Panvel sub-branch. It was very memorable and joyfull moment. Especially Sadguru's video recorded Gurupaurnima message was very nice! Sadguru explained almost all about guru-shishya relation. I personally feel satisfied and my chikissa is converting into shradhdha.

We are now waiting for 20 th July  main function  of Gurupaurnima.
