Namonamah,

I have been thinking about a shared and published gmail spreadsheet with columns: Term, MostPreciseDefinition, BookSource, ElaborationSource, and any others that may seem appropriate. People like me could find the terms and fill up the first column, and wherever we can find a crisp definition, put it in the second column. You and other seniors and the knowledgeables could help out with the other columns. Later on, we could create crosslinks and incorporate links to major elucidating forum posts.

Unfortunately, I could not get around to doing it (not because I was busy, but plain forgot about it) so far.
I have now created the document with four sheets.
The first us what I have mentioned above.
The second is Official JV sources and references
The third is JV Nisarganiyams
The fourth is JV Siddhaants
I request JV Forum members to give their opinion on:
1. whether such an exercise would be useful, or this information is already catalogued in similar form elsewhere
2. whether they can contribute to it through their knowledge and effort
3. whether the columns are OK, or whether changes/additions/deletions are necessary
4. whether additional sheets are required
5. How best to control the authenticity of the content. Editors/Moderators maybe?
6. How best to incorporate this sheet, once the effort picks up, into the JV forum itself, rather than on my gmail
7. How to get help of JV veterans who are not members of the forum
8. Any other matter of relevance. This is a big exercise and only if a large number of people contribute to it will it be done in reasonable time with acceptable quality.
Note that this document should reflect the official JV view ( to the extent possible. I am aware that JV is flexible and open to interpretation).
