stress free lfie

Namaskar,
I have a question; in our daily work environment; some negative stress is induced in the body which affect the health; howsoever we decide not to allow it to come inside; and this is despite performing "dhyana" or "chintan"; so how to cope-up with this situation or what should be our behavior in this situation?
I am new to this forum; and if I am repeating this question again pl. forgive me.
Thanks to all.
Yogesh

Namonamah,
Yogeshjee Namaste.
Stress induced due to work environment is common. It most likely is a reaction to the stress that
we
induce into the environment. How do we induce stress into the environment? The simplest cause is we do not enjoy our work as JV expects us to enjoy (it being a part of life). Why do we not enjoy work? It could be because of various reasons. It could be that the work has been thrust on us. It could be fetching us lesser money than what we need/expect. It could be coming in the way of our studies, our cricket match, or higher ambition. It could be work which does not suit our temperament. It could be also because we are comparing ourselves with others grazing rge green grass on the other side. It could also be because of spoilt or uncomfortable interpersonal relations.... the list could go on...
What I have read on this forum tells me that all the above causes can be handled by achieving a "nivaant" state. And as you doubtless know, the best vehicle for achieving the nivaant state (is it the sthitaprajna state of Chapter 2 of the Bhagavadgeetaa?) is naam smaran, or if that is difficult, Vishwaprarthana.
Please take my answer with a pinch of salt. It is simply an interpretation of the words; there is no personal experience that I am speaking from. And my interpretration could be totally wrong in JV terms!
You will get more to-the-point and practical advise from senior JV practitioners on the forum. I will be as benefitted by them as you would.
Thanks and regards

MK,
I liked your answer.
Yogesh,
Physical stress is unavoidable. Ways to conquer that is balanced lifestyle, exercise to increase the stamina of the body and proper rest and meditation.
Now let's come to the mental stress. I do not want to go into details of Stress course from JV but suffices to go for few tips from Satguru:
1. APEKSHA and AAGRAHA kill us most of the time. Strategy should be to have an ambition and work towards achievement but also having VIRAKTI - ASALA TARI CHALEL ANI NASALA TARI CHALEL - state of mind.
2. Getting what we want (not what we perceive we want but what we really want - read the SUKHACHA SHODH chapter from Amrut Manthan) or getting something more than what we perceive we want. This is possible if we realize the REAL-SELF. First step towards that is NIVAANTA hone or achieving the steady state of mind. Second step is turn the mind towards REAL-SELF and experience GOD through DIVYASADHANA. Third step is to do all work in DIVYASADHANA. Fourth step is SANJEEVAN SAMADHI or existing as GOD. All mental stress is to Yogesh or Subhash.
Lot more can be told on each aspect covered by MK in his answer because JV provides you with a strategy at every stage of life to avoid stress. Some fundamental things like managing priorities, managing time, managing people, managing relationship, managing health, managing duties, etc. is given.
Wisdom is the solution on all problems and JV provides that aplenty.
Doing Love work sincerely and while you are mentally free doing VishwaPrarthana is the best strategy of them all.
God bless you both, God bless all,
Subhash

Nice question by Yogesh & very nice answers by MK & Subhash-da!
I'd like to add a point which Satguru insists time & again (& also, covered very well in JVM's Basic Course)...
'
Punya
' is responsible for one's overall mental health (manaache swasthya). So accumulating more & more punya (thru Vishwa-Prarthana, Naam-smaran, Satkarma, Loving work honestly, etc.) will ensure a sound mental health!
Converse is also true! People devoid of minimal punya will not gain 'peaceful' or 'stress-free' life in spite of 'dhyana', etc.
