Namonamah,
How to become a sadguru? I am sure sadgurunchaa anugrah, anubhooti, kalakal (कळकळ), buddhimatta, chaaritrya, readiness for kasht and tyaag, nishthaa are some of the attributes. What are the other attributes a sadguru must have?
Please do not misunderstand me. I am not asking for a distance education programme on the subject. And I am under no illusion that the answer to such a question would be within my powers to grasp.
Is "becoming a sadguru" a right aspiration for a JV saadhak to have?
Thanks and regards

MK,
Right aspiration to have. Satguru has proclaimed in one of the many pravachanas that he wants his multiple disciples to be Satgurus.
However, JV recommends progress in all walks of life according to the 'spark' which you have inside you. JV wants naamdharaks to be good doctors, engineers, architects, CAs, politicians and most of all good world citizens human beings.
That was easy answer!

Namaskar MK jee,
Very nice desire indeed! Satguru is the spiritual teacher who has the capability to give the experience of swarup, chaitany shakti -Sat-chit-anand (cosmic life force) to the disciple who follows his advice.
Shri Satguru says, The sadhak who surrenders himself totally to the Satguru is a form of Satguru! (JV Darshan-pg 47) Surrendering ego comes gradually as the disciple does sadhana under the guidance of Shri Satguru.
May VP accompany everybody!

Namonamah, I suppose being a good professional like a doctor or a cobbler should not come in the way of becoming a satguru.
In the 50 years of JV how many satgurus has JV created? This forum is one, at least for me.
Thanks and regards Milind Khadilkar

Dear MK, Namonamah!
Certainly any career (except for one based on exploitation, corruption, obscene character or such like) shud/will not work against becoming a Satguru! Quite evident from the fact that our dearest Satguru himself was a renowned Deputy Secy. in Finance Dept., Mantralay, Mumbai!
Regarding ur query about making of Satguru, this wud be known to our Satguru & the 'achiever' him/her-self! bcoz it's more of 'swasamvedya'! (This is what i think, & i might be wrong too!)

MK and all,
Becoming Satguru is a very good ambition and certainly if you are in any profession which is helping the society, you should be fine.
Becoming Satguru is a rare thing, however, and it requires gathering knowledge and doing Sadhana at a very different level. Geeta talks about a person who is a realized soul and says that among 1000s of Siddhas only one knows me. Among these knowers very few become Satguru. SATGURU is VERY VERY VERY DURMIL.
You must be knowing about the story of Sant Shri Ramdas and Sant Shri Tukaram. Both met each other and asked each other "how is your KARYA going on?" Both concluded that "people seldom do naamasmaran that we care about". Similar has been the experience of Satguru. Moreover, people are not settled in their SANSAR. Satguru believes in making the society happy at large. He has focused his energies around making people aware of the fact that "if they make each other happy it is a first big step". Erradicating blind faith in society, attack on ignorance, imparting wisdom has been the priority for JV. We have Satguru among us. What we need is people who help change the society, nation and world for better. Believe JV has created those people aplenty and is in process of creating more. Some of the JV's naamdharks are on the path of becoming Satguru. When will they reach there is a million dollar question.
Another aspect to look at is what is the next best option available? Pradeep Tilaye says "SATGURU is a DIVYA VYAVASTHA. We need to create a VYVASTHAROOPI SATGURU." We are in the process of doing that in KARJAT. Structured courses of JV is the first step, books and CDs of Satguru is the second step. We have also recorded the SADHANA which Satguru imparts. We are creating people who are able to teach JV for future generations. Forum is part of that VYAVASTHA. ACTIVE Naamdharaks is another part of this VYAVASTHA. Active SADHAKs, PRAVACHANKARs and KARYAKARTAs are part of this VYAVASTHA.
What is important other than discussions on the forum is being part of this rare phenomenon - SATGURU. SATGURUNSI SHARAN JAAVE, NIJANISHTHE NAAM GHYAVE - Sant Shri Eknath. Let's use this opportunity to get that knowledge from Satguru, and serve the society through love work on one side and by doing JV's PRASAAR on the other side and making others happy also helps one in DIVYASADHANA. My personal experience has been that you get health, wealth, happiness, money, harmony, good family life and most of all peace of mind. Would urge everybody on this forum to become part of this movement. JV's movement of making others happy. It is going to change the world for better for sure.
Are you ready?
God bless all, Subhash
