Namonamah,
A few month's ago, in the daily programme on radio, Pai Maharaj said something to the effect that while some people have the power to do evil to you through something similar to black magic, these people are rare and such people would never do harm.

I am not sure I heard it right. But again, I am sure that whatever I heard sounded something on these lines. It was unexpected because I always thought JV does not believe in such things.

Will someone kindly put forth the correct picture? What is JV's position on this? What actually was said by Pai Maharaj?
Thanks and regards

Namonamah!

No comments on my earloer post? I was under the impression that JV is against andhashraddha of any sort. I have heard often of what to do when a lemon with kumkum-haldi is thrown at your door: you just make a nice sherbet out of it! With this background, it was difficult to imagine that the same person would state that some people have the ability to do black magic (and that such people who have this power won't use it). I really could not believe my ears.

Did I hear it right? Does Pai Maharaj really believe that some people may have the power of black magic?
Or did I imagine hearing it?
Please let me know.
Thanks in anticipation.

Happy Makar Sankranti to you all!!
Regards

Dear Mr Milindjee,

I was bit surprised with your post! I don't think Sadguru speaks daily on radio. You can hear him on Sundays at 8:00 am on Sahyadri channel. You may check in our Borivali office for other avenues.

Personally I agree that like divine powers one can develop evil powers. That is why in Hindu religion there is importance of "Satguru". So that you can keep yourself away from developing evil powers by practising correct sadhana.

Use of any evil power intentionally or even by mistake will invite disasters for the user in return.

We don't practise black magic. We are not specialist in it. Hence no one from JV wish to comment on this so that black magic is not promoted by us even by discussion through this forum.

I hope with this we can close this topic.

May god bless all,

Deepak Mahadeshwar

Namonamah,
Deepakjee Namaste,
Good to hear from you!
There is indeed a daily programme on radio (8.35 AM Asmita Channel, i.e. Mumbai ब) called Chintan Ha Chintamani, which I listen to regularly. I have referred to this programme in some earlier posts too.
I was just surprised that JV believes in existence of black magic (that they don't practice it is without doubt)!!

Thanks and best wishes
